Cos’è una stufa ad accumulo di calore Houtleem?
Una stufa ad accumulo Houtleem è ispirato dalle stufe ad accumulo dall’europa dell’est e tecniche moderne come Rocket Stove Mass Heaters e ha all’interno una specie di radiatore di metallo che rende possibile un processo di riscaldamento rapido.
L’accumulo invece permette di accogliere e raggiungere il calore dopo che la stufa è spenta anche per 24 ore,come un muro in pietra fa con il calore del sole.
Si consiglia di costruire la stufa in un posto centrale come il cuore della casa.
Un aspetto importante è che queste stufe consumano relativamente poca legna in confronto alle stufe a legna tradizionali e possono raggiungere il calore di 1000 gradi ma non ci si scotta mai all’esterno della stufa in argilla.
Dal cammino emane un fumo con pochi residui inquinanti e il calore solo di 60 °.
Di cosa è costruita la stufa ?
Si usano :
- Mattoni pesanti e argilla e sabbia per creare la massa da 1800 litri a 3000 litri a seconda la grandezza e potenza della stufa.
- Camera di combustione di mattoni refrattari e argilla .
- Un bidone di metallo non visibile all’interno della stufa.
- Porta con vetro refrattario e telaio incorporato.
Esistono diverse dimensioni per riscaldare una determinata casa, in base alle dimensioni della canna fumaria. Ad esempio, un Rocket 2.0 (camino da 200 mm) può riscaldare adeguatamente una casa ben isolata di 100 m2 e un Rocket 1.5 (camino da 150 mm) può riscaldare 50 m2. Anche una stufa ha una capacità di riscaldamento simile se si aggiunge una quantità simile di massa.

È possibile scegliere una stufa con o senza riscaldamento rapido dell’ambiente, oppure una stufa in cui è possibile cucinare con un accumulo (massa) che riscalda anche la casa. Si può anche scegliere una forma e dei colori dal design più organico o moderno, con i pigmenti naturali del catalogo Yosima o con l’argilla in forma pura.
Nella foto si vede il contenitore metallico, ma è possibile nasconderlo completamente all’interno della stufa in argilla. In questo modo si vedrà solo il fuoco dietro la porta della stufa. (come da foto)
What is a Houtleem storage heater?
A Houtleem storage heater is inspired by Eastern European storage heaters and modern techniques such as rocket stove mass heaters, and has a type of metal radiator inside that enables a rapid heating process.
Accumulation, on the other hand, allows the heat to be retained even after the stove has been switched off for 24 hours. This is similar to what a stone wall does with the heat of the sun.
It is advisable to place the stove in a central location, such as the heart of the house.
An important aspect is that these stoves use relatively little wood compared to traditional wood-burning stoves and can reach 1000 degrees, but you will never get burnt outside the clay stove.
Smoke with little polluting residue and heat of only 60° is emitted.
What is the stove made of?
It is made of:
- Heavy bricks, clay and sand to create a mass of 1800 to 3000 litres, depending on the size and power of the stove.
- A combustion chamber in refractory lightweight bricks and clay.
- A metal drum, invisible inside the stove, for rapid heating.
- Door with fireproof glass and integrated frame.
There are different sizes to heat a specific house, all according to the size of the chimney. For example, a Rocket 2.0 (200 mm chimney) can adequately heat a well-insulated house of 100 m2 and a Rocket 1.5 (150 mm chimney) can heat 50 m2. A cooker-stove also has a similar heating capacity if a similar amount of mass is added.

You can choose a stove with or without rapid room heating, or a stove where you can cook with a storage(mass) that also heats the house. You can also choose a more organic or modern design shape and colours with natural pigments from the Yosima catalogue or clay in pure form.
